Collaboration between Plant N Boom & DM Bureau: an example in CO₂ reduction

Stichting Plant N Boom is delighted to share the successful collaboration with DM Bureau. In two years, the agency managed to reduce its CO₂ emissions from 42 tonnes (QuickScan 2022) to 9 tonnes (2024 measurement) – an impressive reduction of 55%. This result was achieved through a combination of actual kilometre reduction, investments in hybrid mobility, and refinement of the measurement methodology.

What have we achieved?

  • 107 tonnes of CO₂ compensated through our Save the Earth program, by planting 214 trees in Sierra Leone.

  • A clear action plan for 2024 with measures in mobility, energy, procurement, and engagement.

  • An ambitious intention to soon fully map out Scope 3 emissions (paper consumption, commuting, suppliers).

  • DM Bureau became an official Plant N Boom ambassador, thereby broadly promoting our mission and helping to connect new partners such as Green Wheels and Quatt.
