Who will take care of my tree?

The local population takes care of the trees; from selecting a plot of land, planting and caring for young saplings, to pruning mature trees. This creates employment for adults in the village and ensures that children no longer have to work but can attend the local school. Through the harvest of fruit and other products, the population directly and durably benefits from this forest of trees. The harvest is used for food and as a source of income by selling it at the market. This revenue is used, among other things, for education.
