War Child

At Plant N Boom, we are committed to the environment through collaborations that truly make a difference. Since 2020, we have been working with War Child to achieve their goal of CO2-neutral operations. Each year, our collaboration helps War Child calculate their carbon footprint, which has led to a deeper awareness and improved measures to reduce their ecological footprint. They also share this with their important partners.

War Child has taken significant steps to reduce their dependence on diesel by switching to cleaner energy sources such as gas, grid electricity or solar energy. Furthermore, a shift to more sustainable transport options has been made with the purchase of their first hybrid vehicle and minimizing new purchases.

In addition, War Child is working on developing a Corporate Social Responsibility policy to further strengthen their environmental ambitions globally in the coming years.
