Why now?

The world is heading for a temperature rise between 1.5 and 3 degrees. Nature cannot keep up with the speed of change and is getting confused. Humans face extreme drought, wind and rain, and partly because of this, enormous damage to infrastructure, homes and nature. People are causing
this damage, but they can also help solve the problems. This must be done NOW to prevent irreparable damage. The world is talking and you can do something immediately!

Plant Your Tree Now

At the heart of our operations is Kadiatu Bangura, the wife of the operations manager at KETSO, our dedicated local partner in Sierra Leone. Kadiatu is a crucial link in our mission to restore and enrich the natural environment through reforestation.

"I strongly believe in the power of trees," Kadiatu says, gently touching the leaves of a young tree. "Planting trees is not only good for our planet; it also brings us tangible benefits."

Kadiatu has seen how the trees we plant together are transforming communities. In addition to the crucial role they play in absorbing CO2 and producing oxygen, many of the planted trees are beginning to bear fruit. " These trees will not only protect us from climate change, but also provide us with fruit and other resources essential to our daily lives," she explains.

By sharing her experiences with the local community, Kadiatu inspires others to participate in our initiatives. Her story is a powerful example of how individual actions can contribute to a greater good while providing direct benefits to local communities.

"Every tree we plant is a step toward a more sustainable and resilient future," she adds, hopeful. "We invite everyone to help us plant more trees and become part of this beautiful transformation."

Joseph Kargbo - A Young Witness to Change

My name is Joseph Kargbo, and I am the son of Idriss Kargbo, a retired employee of KETSO. My father planted trees for many years, playing a fundamental role in changing our landscape and our future.

"Planting trees is essential," Joseph says with a conviction that extends beyond his years. "When you plant a tree, it helps remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. This not only helps protect the earth from warming, but also promotes a healthy living environment for all of us."

Joseph goes on to explain how these trees directly impact the agricultural community. "The trees help regulate temperature and provide protection for our crops. Without these trees, our plantations and even the animals that depend on them would suffer. Farmers would lose their income."

Thanks to his father's efforts, Joseph sees the direct benefits of reforestation. "Planting trees not only helps farmers, but also young people like me. It provides us with oxygen and a hope for a more sustainable future."

"I am proud of my father and what he has accomplished for our community," said Joseph. "I hope more people are inspired to plant trees and participate in this important task. Every tree makes a difference and together we can change our world."

Join Joseph and the many others working for a greener, healthier planet. Plant your tree today and become part of a lasting change.

Find your tree

Trees are crucial in the fight against climate change. They play a vital role in regulating the earth's temperature by removing harmful CO2 from the air and converting it into oxygen, which is essential for life.

At Plant N Tree, we take this task seriously and have our own tree forest in Sierra Leone, Africa. With the help of local farmers, who have years of experience planting and maintaining trees, we make sure your contribution makes an immediate impact.

Our foundation manages the planting process from start to finish, and modern GPS technology allows you to track the growth and health of your trees. This technology provides a transparent view of your contribution and lets you see the direct impact of your actions.

Adopt a tree today and gain access to our online tree database, where you can track your tree and see how your contribution is helping to cool the planet.

What are my emissions?

Plant a tree for just €10 and make a lasting difference to our planet. Every tree you plant helps reduce CO2 in our atmosphere and offers a step forward to a more sustainable world.

Knowing how many trees you need to offset your personal carbon emissions can be challenging. That's why we've developed a special calculator. With a few simple details about your lifestyle, such as travel habits, energy consumption and general consumption, our calculator can accurately calculate how many trees you would need to plant to achieve a carbon-neutral lifestyle.

Not only individually, but also together with your family, friends or colleagues, you can make a big difference. Our calculator is a great tool to use together and get everyone involved in reducing your collective carbon footprint.

What is the impact of planting trees?

Every tree you plant plays a crucial role in our collective fight against climate change. By absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere, your trees not only help limit global temperature rise, but also contribute to a healthier planet for future generations.

When you plant a tree, you start a chain reaction of positive effects. Trees store carbon dioxide and convert it into oxygen, which is essential for life on Earth. Year after year, they continue to absorb CO2, which helps neutralize your personal contribution to greenhouse gases. This includes emissions from your daily activities such as energy consumption, travel, food and general consumption.
